Awesome Vibes & Great Service! Low Down Lounge is such a hidden gem in Austin! The vibe is super laid-back with a cool, retro feel that makes you want to hang out all night. Great music, cozy lighting, and a fun crow, just what you'd expect from the East Side. The drinks were spot on with different varieties. What really made the night stand out was the service, Lilah was our server and she was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. The Low Down is a pretty cool place to have on your weekly rotation. I've been coming here for a while because their happy hour deals are pretty great ($2 beer and cheap shots brings me back), but they have some surprisingly good cocktails for a dive bar. The bar manager Alberto told me that he pretty much puts out new cocktails every month because he likes shaking things up and trying out new things. The atmosphere here is relaxed and welcoming, and it's a great place to chill with friends, play some pool, and watch throwback movies on the TV.
