I could’ve had two but I like to stay humble. Bonus highlight: My granddaughter got the spinach and shiitake dumplings and y’all—she was in dumpling heaven. That girl doesn’t play when it comes to her food, and she gave ‘em the thumbs up. They also have a happy hour menu that’s definitely worth checking out. I’m already plotting .

I love sushi, and this was truly the best sushi experience I had in my life! I highly recommend this place. Reservations are recommended, however, we went around 515 which was a good timing. First off, parking was fairly easy of Congress. Second off, we were able to get a table for two fairly easy. I believe between 5 and 7 PM is happy hour which includes many of their popular dishes with significant discounts. I cannot recommend this place enough, and definitely will be coming back when I can.

We came here for Mother’s Day and had a great experience. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The food was fresh and full of flavor. We ordered the R2D2 and C-3PO rolls, the brussel sprouts, and the ceviche. Everything was prepared well and tasted great. Service was fast and friendly, even though it was a busy day. I definitely want to come back again, especially to try the happy hour menu. This is a solid spot for sushi and small plates in Austin.

Unfortunately this place left me feeling very disappointed. Had been wanting to try this sushi restaurant for a while but it was a very lackluster experience. I am an Austin local and a connoisseur of sushi. We got the second tier omakase and hardly liked the options we got. Turns out the omakase just means they give you items they pick up to a certain dollar amount. Which is different from having set menus or something. Some items were good like the Wagyu rock the rolls at the end and the bees knees drinks. However the sashimi tower I saw was priced at $90 for 15 prices and just was not worth it. Nothing was terrible but in my opinion it was just not worth the value. Very over priced for quality and what you get. If your visiting Austin and want sushi I’d recommend another place to get sushi 🍣
