Hands down the best pancake I’ve ever had! It was so good I had to order a second one—moist, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The whole breakfast was absolutely delicious from start to finish. I’m so glad I came, and I’ll definitely be returning! I’m originally from Sarasota, FL where we used to have a Lucky’s Market before Kroger ran them into bankruptcy. So when I moved to Colorado, I was beyond happy to find out the original locations in Boulder and Fort Collins are still going strong. AND the one in Boulder has this cute restaurant! This visit brought back the best kind of memories, and the food truly exceeded all expectations. What a great experience!

Listen, I love both Walnut Cafes so much, but sometimes the wait and the chaotic feeling inside stress me out. The LBC experience is relaxed even when they are at capacity. I used to tell the bartenders I worked with “I know we are slammed but, believe it or not, you don’t have to act like we are slammed.” The staff at the Bakehouse “gets” that. They are amazing. Best fancy BLT I’ve ever had. Excellent Fish and Chips. Try the Jam sandwich.

The coffee and food were so good! We ordered the huevos… beans, house made chile sauce, eggs and tortillas. The flavor was 👌. The jam sandwich had a sweet tomato jam combined with a delicious brioche toast… and the coffee was not just standard diner version, fresh espresso! Yum.

This place made my day. Scarlett at the hostess stand was so sweet and nice, even with a line ahead, and behind me. (We are both named Scarlet/Scarlett). Wait time was shorter than proposed. Alex was very sweet and attentive, even to a passerby squirrel. Food was well priced, perfectly portioned, came out so fast! Espresso is the best ever, and the grapefruit mimosas with the generous blueberry garnish were delicious! Such a great find!
