I had the most wonderful birthday dinner at Mar | Muntanya last night. My server was fantastic and truly made the experience memorable. This restaurant sits on top of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown SLC. It has plenty of seating with nice views of the city. I wish I could remember our waiters name. I think he was also the bartender. He was ever so knowledgeable about the menu and offered us several different options. He didn't lead us in the wrong direction because everything we ate was absolutely devin. This is a tappas restaurant, so the portions are small. Everything from the crab to Ashley's cake was full of flavor and delicious. The ambiance here was nice and relaxing while I was here. This is a fine dining establishment, so it is a but pricey. I felt it was worth it. Our waiter truly made the whole experience fun, and we were excited to taste every dish.
