We ordered the fish and chips and mushroom risotto. Both came with a bowl of clam chowder soup. The chowder is a big serving, so consider this before ordering a bunch of appetizers. I ordered crab cakes first, then got the bowl of soup…I was stuffed by the time I got my entree. Pace yourself :) Our waiter was very nice and funny. Enjoyed our dinner.

Market Street Grill is a really good seafood restaurant. We went here a few weeks ago and had a great experience. All of the food was very good. I would highly recommend it. The chowder is great, as was the Rainbow Trout and Crab Cakes. While it can be a bit spendy it is certainly worth it for special occasions.

Disappointing Experience for the Price I really wanted to love Market Street Bar and Grill in downtown SLC, but it missed the mark. My husband’s steak was so bland he joked he would’ve gotten more for his money if he got food poisoning. The pasta was flavorless, and the drinks were practically all liquor—no balance at all. The appetizers were okay, but nothing memorable. On a positive note, our server did a great job despite being the only one covering the entire restaurant on a busy Friday night. Overall, for the price, the quality just wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t mind giving it another try someday if I hear things have improved.
