If only I could give a 1000 stars review… What a magical place. From the atmosphere, historic home, impeccable service, outstanding food and genuine kindness from every staff member. Thank you thank you thank you for making our first visit utterly beautiful. Shout out to Maggie, you are a gem. We had a handcrafted iced latte, back porch tea, fried green tomatoes with crab salad (literally chefs kiss). Entrees were insane as well. We loved the Fried chicken eggs benny and the bread pudding french toast. Bravo! It also helps that my wife’s name is Mattie. Made it all the more perfect for her.

Phenomenal brunch spot! Came for the first time and it was an absolute pleasure. The property is very quaint and beautiful. The food was delicious. I’m not a cinnamon roll fan at all but they were delicious. The cheese for the kolache was creamy and spicy with so much flavor. My husband ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to perfection and the potato cake was so creamy. I had the chilaquiles and they were just as delicious. The pork was tender and the tortilla chips were crisp. The fresh veggies mixed in gave it the perfect lightness and heat from the jalapeños. The service was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond. Can’t wait to go back!

Where do I begin? How about 1895 when the house that the restaurant is in was built, ha! I have been here many times and this time had the pleasure of BRUNCH. And wow...lives up to the 2-month reservation wait...the food was outstanding and the service felt like I was visiting and old friend. You need to come here. You want to come here. The food was good, not super memorable per se but decent. We ordered the gumbo, carrots, burrata, shrimp and grits, and Brussels sprouts. The carrots were a tad too sweet but delicious. The shrimp was over cooked. The old fashioned was amazing
