I catch bass here. It's not easy but it's fun, there are definitely some hogs hiding out there, they're just smarter then one would think. I like finesse style techniques for this lake, loud things don't seem to work as well. A fair number of trees but the best spots are in the sun. Bring sunblock

Nice mostly peaceful area with many activities next to the water. Fishing for golf Frisbees and fish. Many things to watch from golf to frogs. People are not supposed to use motorized boards or feed wildlife but ignore signage. Areas have restrooms which are in decent condition. Lighting in area is good. Great job in watering the sidewalks. During flood times the wash, floodplain becomes a river and a few people can be seen tubing on Roosevelt. If one area is not what you want you can go north or south on the flood plane.
