I just read all the one-star reviews and I felt like I need to put something positive out there. I’ve lived here for just over two years, and I just moved to a bigger apartment in the same building and recently signed another 12-month lease. I’m a single guy with one car and I live on a higher floor. I love it here! It seems like most of the bad reviews are based on four things: 1. Parking: I have not had my car towed a single time. My tag is up to date, my Meridian tag is always hanging from my mirror, and I always park in my assigned space. Apparently those who have their cars towed are overlooking at least one of those concepts. There is only one space per apartment, though, so as long as you understand that, you’re fine. 2. Homeless people: True. There are homeless people in this area. They can be annoying. The residents on the ground floor seem to have more problems with them. I have personally had zero problems. They have never bothered me, and they are not the fault of management. That is a city issue. 3. Security: The problems I have personally seen are mostly from other residents, not management. I have watched residents hold doors open for people who obviously don’t live here. Residents prop doors open for convenience, and then leave them unattended. Residents broke the entry gates, which are now fixed and working, by the way. Residents don’t check to make sure doors and gates are latched before walking away. If you are a responsible person, I’d love to have you as a neighbor. 4. Management: I love the management! They’ve always been nice to me. I’m polite, respectful, and nice, and they are the same with me. They have always addressed my questions and needs professionally and quickly. The location is perfect. I work at the airport and the train is literally right out front. It takes me six minutes to get to work. It’s a straight shot to downtown in less than 10 minutes. My apartment is super nice, and the views are incredible. Don’t make decisions based on jaded reviews. Come see for yourself and then decide.

Do not move here unless you want to waste your money and peace of mind. This has been one of the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. From day one, my car was towed and held for weeks. Homeless people regularly sleep in the parking lot and right outside the gym doors. The gate system is a complete joke, they “fix” it every few months, but the gate keys don’t work, and if you come home after office hours, you’re probably not getting in. Mind you, you’ll probably be paying $60-80 a month for parking you can’t even access. Eventually, they just leave the gate open, which only adds to the safety concerns. The trash valet system is unreliable, they change pickup times without notice, and then issue violations. The office staff is rude, unhelpful, and completely dismissive, especially one girl with brown hair who works the front; she’s always rude and has a constant dirty look on her face like helping residents is a burden. I’ve had people leave notes on my car, packages have gone missing, and I’ve had strangers knocking and messing with my door at 4–5 AM. When I asked about having my parents’ dog visit for one weekend, I was told I’d have to pay a $500 deposit, half of which is non-refundable. They even charge residents for a $100-200 DirectTV package that I haven’t used once. I read the one-star reviews and thought maybe they were just isolated experiences, they’re not. Save yourself the headache. If you plan on moving here, give it a few months before you regret it.

Move here if you hate yourself. Never in my life have I lived at a place who cares solely about money more than their residents. The prices here are absolutely ridiculous for a basic apartment that is just as nice as the place across the street for 600$ more a month. Another problem is their parking. The parking situation is awful for the first 3 months living here we only had one parking spot because their waitlist is full which doesn’t make sense. How do you build an apartment complex with a parking lot not able to hold its residents? Ruins the purpose of a gated community. But wait, it’s not a gated community because the gate has been out of order for 5 of the 7 months I’ve lived here. On top of that ridiculous price for rent and utilities which should include parking fees in my opinion but no a covered spot is 80 DOLLARS??!! And a non covered for 60??!! And if you think you’re smart by not getting a spot you’re wrong because if you aren’t parked by 3pm then the entire street has no parking and you have to go park atleast a 10 mins walk away because there’s nothing close besides Orange St. Another hot topic is their maintenance team who takes forever to respond to your maintenance requests. Security is non existent, they patrol the parking lot maybe a couple times throughout the night and homeless people are everywhere even just last week I was going to work going down the stairwell and some tweaker is shooting up in the middle of the stairwell. Overall this place isn’t worth the hassle it brings. They don’t care about their residents and they will get every penny out of you that they can. I hope this review will be enough for those looking to move here, you genuinely will be happy somewhere else even if it is convenient.

The area is completely overrun by homeless people And yet they charge here a luxurious price. I have found used condoms and needles outside my front door. Parking is also a nightmare. If you enjoy having guests over, think again. There is one road with parking for two apartment complexes with over 100 apartments. There’s literally zero places to park. I wish the Meridian would make a deal with the nearby businesses down the road to let people park there outside of office hours or something.
