A great place to play disc golf in Austin. 18 holes. Some tree-lined holes, but overall an open course with good signage. Amateur and pro tee boxes. Variety of holes that are ace-able along with some challenging ones. Great for sunrise or sunset rounds. Can be muddy in some areas of the front 9. Off the fairway brush is NOT fun to experience so try to keep your disc in play.

Drove in from out of town to play the course on my son’s birthday only to find it had been reserved and we were not allowed to use the course. This should have been posted several places. Pretty disappointing.

Great course. Several long par 4 holes and the par 3 holes are fun. There's always some mud near holes 2, 3, & 8 due to a spring on the course. There is a creek along most of the course. Take your disc retriever if you've got one.

Course features 18-baskets, each equipped with two concrete tee pads (one long and one short) per hole. A map previewing distance to basket and disc flight-line options are at each tee box. Opportunities exist to throw a variety of flex shots, tunnel shots, and a few long bombs/rollers. This creek-laced course conveniently has a figure-eight layout, so both the front 9 and the back 9 begin and end near the parking lot.

The course is free and accessible nearly year-round, unlike many specialized golf or sports complexes that have higher fees and limited hours. This accessibility combined with a high customer rating (4.6 from 98 reviews) speaks volumes about the course’s quality and user satisfaction.

Additionally, MetCenter’s location in Austin, a city known for outdoor lifestyle and community events, adds to its appeal.
