Why Milk & Froth Ice Cream is a fun option when searching for things to do near me with friends and family

Milk & Froth Ice Cream has become a beloved destination for ice cream enthusiasts in Detroit and Ann Arbor by redefining what it means to savor authentic, artisanal frozen treats. Founded by Alexis Matteson and Deion Cao, the brand’s journey began with an ice cream truck catering to local customers craving high-quality flavors made entirely from scratch. Their craft includes both classic and innovative flavors, such as their popular matcha pistachio, that appeal to a wide range of palates, including vegan options. The brick-and-mortar shops in Detroit’s historic Buhl Building and Ann Arbor’s vibrant downtown offer friendly and inviting spaces to gather and enjoy these premium, small-batch scoops. Their commitment to locally sourced ingredients, chemical-free recipes, and accessible pricing reflects their mission to democratize artisanal ice cream. Whether you are meeting friends after work or looking for a comforting treat on the weekend, Milk & Froth offers a unique experience combining quality, creativity, and community spirit, making it an exceptional place to connect and indulge in handmade ice cream delights.

one of the only ice cream places here in AA that offer such a unique variety of flavors. Not a lot of options to choose from but we ordered their earl grey and raspberry stracciatella! $5 for a single scoop but pretty generous in the portion size. I’ve had early grey flavors in other ice cream shops and they just taste artificial. But you could really taste the tea flavor behind this one. Also not too sweet

This is the second time I have came here and the first waffle cones are phenomenal and the pecan Butter Brittle ice cream is to die for! If you haven't tried this place I recommend you come try them out. They will let you sample any of the ice creams first to make sure you like them before purchasing. And if you're vegan I have four different options for you as well!

We stopped in from the cold to get some heat and also ice cream - honeycomb. The interior of the restaurant was so cute with what looked to be red milk carton sections to sit upon. Take it from my Mother, the ice cream was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small selection of vegan ice cream. Considering I’m lactose intolerant, I should have tried one of the three flavours they had. Alas, I’ve been so sick before on ice cream that I’m shell shocked - this and I’m on a diet! I will try it the next time I return to Ann Arbor. The price of the ice cream for a single scoop is a little steep at $5, but my Mother said it was definitely worth it.

This is totally the best ice cream in town. Their flavors may seem weird, but they’re actually so good! I would tell you what the best one is, but I don’t want you to eat it all. Their waffle cones are excellent too!

Solid ice cream flavor and quality is top notch. The flavors are unique and really good. Staff patiently waiting for me to make my decision helped. Only downside had to buy a pint to make my own shakes 👍🏼
