After not dancing for two years due to knee surgery I started dancing again after taking my first class here. Everyone is so friendly here and there are a lot of places that give off toxic dance community vibes, this is not one of those places. When you ask teachers for feedback, they actually give you feedback and when you ask questions they are very patient. I’ve learned so much from Morgen Call when she said to dance with eye contact; I learned so much from Jason Pickett when he said that we all have bad dance days and trying is what matters most; I learned so much from Mel Worley when she really explains basic moves in a clear, understandable and digestible way. A lot of other teachers deserve to be mentioned but I think you should just come and see for yourself how hardworking everyone is and how welcoming this dance community can be. I will be moving out of Utah soon but I will really miss this place because they make you feel like we’re all a big family.
