Went to 1850 w Thome today asking for help to look for a room dedicated to my grandmother. Lady at the front desk wouldn't help me, basically told me to get lost.

Misericordia is an amazing place that deserves lots of praise. The residents are very friendly and love visitors! They like to socialize and have friendly conversations. My experiences while taking a tour were amazing and I have no complains. I believe they were going through some remodeling because of the fresh paint smell and workers going around and fixing some walls, but other than that there was a lot of artwork and history oc Misericordia on the walls. Speaking of artwork, the residents enjoy doing art. All of them are so talented. You are able to purchase some of their work in the gift shop. The bakery is great. They make treats and sell them for great prices. It always smells yummy. Misericordia is a fun and amazing place. If you do plan on taking a tour, take your time and really look through the different parts.

A world class, beautiful home for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our 28 year old son has been a resident at Misericordia. They are the most caring and loving people. We have a 31 year old daughter who is also special needs. She lives in a group home that is not run by Misericordia. The organization who run her group home are good, but not on the same level.
