The ice cream is a 5+ stars, but the “powdered creamer” for my coffee at a place like this shocked me and reminded me of … well I was going to say “gas station coffee” but most gas stations offer better creamer options … what happened here!?!? I truly LOVED this ice cream shop! The decor, the values on the wall, the unique coffee flavors, the incredible taste of the ice cream - we had horchata and kulfi (pistachios, cardamom) WOW!! Flavors I have never had before!! This may be the single best ice cream experience I have ever had (and I have 4 decades of ice cream eating experience and have been around the world). I ordered a double scoop of horchata and coffee krunch, and my wife had horchata and kulfi, it was so delicious!! I also ordered an americano and asked for light on the hot water and plenty of room for cream. When she gave me my americano, she pointed me to a small station and said, “cream is over there.” When I walked over and saw the canister of Coffeemate “powdered creamer” I was beside myself. It was so out of place, it was like seeing a milk bucket under a bull. I chose not to ruin my perfectly good Americano, and opted for no creamer. Besides that, I would highly recommend this place!

It's been awhile since I visited this place. They now operate under a new name. They have added some extra offerings such as cookies and croffle. They also have coffee and tea. For this visit, I mainly wanted ice cream and chose to try the horchata cookie and strawberry flavors. The horchata had a really good taste to it and went well with the strawberry scoop. The person working here was super nice and patient with me while I decided what flavors I wanted. It's a great place to come to when in the area.

I LOVE Miss Oz Ice cream shop!! They have the best ice cream in town. They have super cute vintage ice cream parlour vibe and I just love the smell of waffle cone as soon as I step into the shop. I've recently tried their dirty matcha and I was blown away!! I will definitely be back for more coffee from now on. Please support your local shops when you can and Keep Portland weird! :)

Had a nice visit this evening to the Miss Oz shop. We are walking distance from the location but still had never been in so was excited to try a new spot. They mentioned they’d been in business for 17 years but just recently changed the name. The atmosphere and decor is charming and sweet. There are photos and art on the wall as well as whimsical decor inside. It felt playful and clean which I can appreciate. The cream flavor selection was pretty vast with some more unique flavors like horchata and Thai iced tea. I always appreciate some out of the box option. I went with the fresh banana which I’m always partial to when it’s available. The ice cream tasted fresh and portions were decent. Split scoop defiantly the way to go. It’s definitely a more dense ice cream than some I’ve had but delivered on flavor and overall texture. A great option for the area and a reasonable alternative to the salt and straw and other NW options. I would go back again.
