I like this market. It's not as large as some of the others in San Diego, but they do offer the essentials. For instance, fresh organic produce, eggs, sour dough bread products, and a good mix of food vendors are present. But, most importantly, they have a couple of coffee vendors selling fresh coffee! You can park on the street or at the nearby park.

I arrived just after 9 AM on Saturday. I noticed there were more fast food vendors, than there were farmers market booths…. The farmers market in Hillcrest would be a good example of what one would expect. Parking was OK. Just get there early, great place to walk your dog. The BAO BUNS were pretty good at this one vendor seen in my photo here.

Cute farmer’s market in a great location right next to the Civita Park. You can grab a bite to eat and go for a walk around the park, which is really nice. Though it’s not the largest farmer’s market, it’s definitely a nice addition to Mission Valley. I keep coming back for Bonjour Patisserie, their french pastries are some of the best ever. There’s also a local honey vendor, Max’s honey, that’s way better than anything you can get at the store. Plus it’s nice to support small, local businesses.
