I went here for a wedding event and it was a decent size for a venue. I was able to park next door in the parking area. There is street parking available and lots to park in as well. The restroom was clean and there was a room connected to it that locks for privacy. In the front of the building it opens which allows for guest to have a seating area and enjoy outside while still remaining in the venue. This part of Downtown is not the best area for scenic views and is not aesthetically pleasing so that's why I didn't give 5 stars.

The inside for the wedding was very nice, however the location is a bet sketchy... and good luck with finding parking..

I've been to 2 weddings here and the venue itself is beautiful. Unfortunately the exterior tables don't seem to be too well kept up. Our arms and sleeves were dirty and the plants were dead.

What a mess, figuratively and literally. I MC'd a good friends wedding here last year and I don't think I'd compliment a single thing about how it went. The staff had no idea how the AV equipment worked and had no idea where the mics were; we had to figure it out on our own. One of the staff even kept asking the DJ questions while he was trying to set up, because he had no idea how the system worked. The day of coordinator was rude and unhelpful. The coordinator and their assistant did everything together and was condescending whenever I asked a question. I don't know what they consider to be the scope of work for the day of coordinator but of all the weddings I've been too they did the least. They didn't provide any help in prepping the bar area or even suggesting where it should be when asked. The storage room we had access to for chilling drinks and other items was DISGUSTING. There was substantial amounts of food and trash left in and around the room. I had to clean it out after the coordinator shrugged their shoulders about it, "it shouldn't be like that." There were some changes in the program that were communicated to them in advance that were completely forgotten. One of which included not cueing the bride and groom on when to walk into the reception and their song ending with no grand entrance. At the end of the night they had the audacity to make a rude comment to the groom about the bar being unattended at one point. Guess what? He had nothing to do with that, he was in the wedding. That was the bartenders fault and they could've either helped the bartender in the moment or confronted him, instead they gave attitude to someone enjoying their wedding night that had nothing to do with the issue at hand. Overall I would not recommend this venue. I've been in completely DIY weddings where I had to do less to help than the wedding I attended here. The best thing about the venue was the parking for the wedding party and vendors, it was plentiful.

East Village is normally not a place you would think someone would want to have their wedding reception. Historically it’s been the residence of a bit of a skid row of sorts, but places like Monkey Paw, Stella, Eldo and even the stadium (though that’s kinda the dividing line). When I saw my friends reception would be here I had to google it. Turns out it’s 1 block south to MP and across the street from the old Makers Quarter. It’s actually kinda hidden and not overrun by the vagrant population. They have their own parking garage, what? Even better because even if you find street parking I don’t recommend walking this area alone if you are female or even most dudes alone at night. A very hidden feel and industrial space with exposed brick, rebar door handles, but glass, wood floors. Some perks are they provide chairs/tables, DJ booth and sound equipment. Some things to consider are the bathrooms are way I the back and the flow of people can be interesting and not in that butt funnel sort of way. The bathrooms themselves probably weren’t meant to handle a crowd that can fit in the main hall. The outside raised deck sort of patio is a de facto smoking area. Our DJ, food catering were good, drinks only had 1 station, but I’ll save most of that for the individual vendors. The ceremony was great and it’s definitely a space most people don’t consider because it’s hidden, in east village.
