My kids and I enjoy this park. It's got some decent equipment, including a tire swing, which you don't see often anymore. The biggest turn-off is the homeless population, which gravitates to the usually empty parking lot by the community center. In the hot months, the pool opens up. It's a nice way to cool off with the kids.

Welp, it is a decent place to meet others to pick up a rescue pup for a trial run. Easy access to the parking, and the whole park.

Great park, good equipment, and always friendly people. It got a bit gross for a while and I stopped going there. To many issues with things I'm the playground that are not safe. However it does seem to be getting better.

I love this park!!! I've spent a lot of time at Montauk Park, and I love taking my dogs there to play in the big field area. The pros are location, it's not too busy, good people frequent it, and the parks department employees have always been professional and kind hearted. The cons are are the covered picnic tables have been fenced off because people misused and abused the privilege, and the busy streets in 2 sides of the park (Grisham & 82nd Ave.) Overall it holds many good memories for me.

Beautiful green park with lush and huge trees. Nice enclosed outdoor soccer area and baseball diamond. Park wraps around behind the Montavilla swimming pool, and given that it borders 82nd Ave, it's remarkably quiet once you get 100 feet or so into the park area. Very serene.
