A few months later, in June I went to the shop for more in depth training from Maggie. I had so much fun and learned a lot. I have lots of sewing experience, but have never used a computerized machine. Maggie was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a great teacher. I am thrilled with the machine and look forward to future trips to Montavilla, even though I live in Ridgefield, WA.

Only for the hardcore, strictly for the headstrong! This is a no-nonsense miles-deep stores for real sewheads. My mom passed on her beloved Bernina to me and when it wouldn't run & was revealed to be gunked through & through, I took it here. Nathan was able to chemical clean it but because the cam stack was cracked and stitches were going to be dropped, they didn't charge me for the clean, because the work couldn't be warrantied. In addition to this extremely gracious gesture, Nathan's passion and respect for sewing machines was evident!
