Fun for bikes and skating. Cool little pump track with some trees near by for some shade. Montbello, please take care of the huge weeds growing in and around the track.

Great park for 10 yr old children and up! All the Parks amenities are basically for the bigger children it was tough for my 3 yr old to do own his own and so we won't come back for a few years. On the other hand my 10 yr old enjoyed herself very much . clean park though 2 portable pottys on parking lot.

This looks nothing like the pics show it to be. It’s so overgrown with weeds you can’t even see the track from the parking lot My son said he was afraid something was going to jump out of the weeds and get him. We went to a different track instead of chancing it at this one

I went here before work on my long board and had a blast! The track is clean and fun for bikes and skateboards. It's also great to see so many students using the track after school.

On opening day 9/21/2022, would have given it a 5 Star rating except for the fact that Denver Park and Recreation (DPR) has some unfinished business here both in physical and management of the pump track!!!.... First, DPR executives incorrectly regards the Montbello pump track as a "bike only" pump track. Truth is, it is an asphalt built pump track by Vellosolutions as a bike feature but it is designed/built for BOTH skateboarding and bikes. Reality is more people will skateboard the Montbello pump track because more people have the proper skateboards for a pump track than they have the proper bikes to ride a pump track, especially in an urban setting where bike ownership lacks in general Metro-Denver wide. Also, the pump track is right next to Montbello High School and is frequently used by students before school, during lunch, and after school primarily on skateboards.... When the word gets out about how good Montbello pump track is, skateboarders from all over Denver and beyond will be flocking to the Montbello pump track since it is a real pump track; unlike the unusable and unsafe bunk "bike- scoot tracks" waste-of-taxpayer-money that need to be jack-hammered and redone at Bible Park and City Park in Denver.... AS FOR UNFINISHED WORK AT MONTBELLO PUMP TRACK: 1) Put a trash can and recycle can or two next to the pump track to keep bottle caps and whatever out from in the pump track that will cause accidents. 2) Remove all the small rocks haphazardly placed in the low dirt spots that will eventually get kicked into the pump track causing bike and skateboard accidents. 3) Put up some cool signage on: what a pump track is; the etiquette of use/taking turns/heads up; the recommendations for safety equipment; advise to watch out for and remove trash/rocks/dirt; and lastly a contact point for any issues such as spalling/potholes/flooding etc.... Hope to rate the Montbello Pump Track with a 5 next time.... PS, Denver Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB), this is solely on you to help DPR make sure Montbello Pump Track is a success unlike the great pickleball debacle of 2022 that did nobody any good!
