A wonderful part of the Kerns neighborhood. The Italian food here is very high quality with flavors you wouldn't normally expect. There is a nice market side to compliment it. You can purchase ingredients, fresh made noodle, drinks, and other higher end things. I recommend making a reservation if you're dead set on visiting as my wife and I walked in and barely got seating at the bar. All the tables were reserved. This was just 5PM on Friday. So it is a popular place. Very fair prices for the quality of the dishes and depth of flavor.

Before dinner, we purchased a bottle of super Chianti from the market, which the bartender corked to breathe while we ordered cocktails. For appetizers, we ordered the meatballs, which were phenomenal, along with bread, which was rich and chewy and so delightful with olive oil. The service was punctual and thorough and the timing of our entrees, along with our wine was spot on. All 4 of us ordered pasta dishes that were quite large and so tasty. And the wine accompanied them beautifully. Our waiter was attentive, yet gave us plenty of time to enjoy our dinner before taking our dessert order. We shared the tiramisu, which was deliciously rich and moist with the right balance of flavors. We all loved our experience. The only drawback was the outdoor tables. They are pretty small picnic tables and only seat 4, very tightly. So I’d say the ambience was less than ideal.

We have been wanting to go for a long time and finally had our anniversary dinner here! It did not disappoint!!! We had the radicchio salad, the burrata and focaccia to start. Everything was sooooo delicious!!! I regret getting the small radicchio salad!!! It was absolutely mouth watering!! Our focaccia was really dry & tasted old, so we told them and they brought a fresh plate and it was on point. For entree’s, we had the cavatelli(?) it was pasta with chicken and spices in what seemed like a chicken broth, sooooo yummy! My hubs had the more simple one with blistered tomatoes & basil tbh at I think was just tossed in olive oil. It was also very good. Dessert was just incredible. We had the Nutella gelato and the tiramisu. We stopped eating our pasta halfway through, to be able to get dessert and we struggled to finish. The tiramisu hit all the highlights and the only slight criticism I would have is that it is really mascarpone forward. But oh so good!! 😊 Highly recommend but you definitely want to make a reservation if going on the weekend. They also have a super cute market with cheese, cured Italian meats, wine, olives, pasta, olive oils etc. They also have pre-made bake at home pastas, desserts to go and some frozen dishes!

Wonderful dinner right down the street from the theater we had just been to. Menu is pasta and more pasta. Great options and the salad was great, we got the raddichio salad with a tangle dressing with cheese and croutons, but the croutons were crushed and mixed into the salad which as far as I am concerned is the only way to do croutons. I got the Bolognese and my wife got the mushroom ragu. Really beautiful dishes and great service. They also have a creative and interesting cocktail menu which we both explored.

Love us some homemade pasta. Flavors were incredible and so very flavorful. I asked a reputable contact for top Italian and this made his top 5 and I’d say he’s spot on. Ambiance was ok. They did have heated outdoor in addition to their outdoor seating. Love the little Italian market inside as well. Only downside on food was it was hard to customize many of the dishes and most were pork based hence I got the tajarin. Loved it. Just wish I had some protein without chilis. Will absolutely be returning. So far favorite Italian in Portland but we aren’t done checking off the list!
