Our meal included fresh oysters, flavorful Cajun shrimp Alfredo, and a perfectly cooked NY sirloin steak. Although we didn’t try any of the specialty drinks, they looked amazing and are definitely on our list for next time. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. I grew up in Miami where Monty’s has been a huge part of the vibe, a go to place to grab a bite or have a drink, meet up with friends after a movie, and just hang out in front of the water and the boats docked in the marina. Never known for excellence in food quality, but at least fair enough for the quick bite. By gosh, it had been years that I had not been at Monty’s and I was sadly disappointed. The simple mozzarella sticks I ordered were nothing short of horrific! The Margarita was 90% ice, and the rest was a mystery, but the worst was the “service”! This woman must do us all a favor and quit. ASAP! She literally dragged herself to my table and her facial expression was so unpleasant, it made me want to just get up and leave. She really was the cherry 🍒 on top of the whole disappointment, not to mention that the chair I sat on was falling apart and I almost fell to the ground..! Just horrible. 😣 OH! Super expensive too… run 🏃🏻♀️
