Their selection is superior to any other tree nursery in town and the quality of their inventory is outstanding! You can tell they care about their products as well as their clients, potential or otherwise. Michael Carman helped us out when picking our new addition to our front yard. We knew we wanted an oak to replace a tree that died from the ice storm and a gorgeous bur oak now balances out our property beautifully! The digging and installation teams are wonderful! Everyone showed up on the scheduled days and Jose took the lead for the delivery and installation. Incredible job all around and we are very happy customers, and will highly recommend Moon Valley to anyone wanting the best for their properties! Thank you for making it so easy, Michael! We have had a great experience for the most part with Moon Nursery and are glad we chose to work with them for our landscape design and care. On the design side we worked with Eric to redo our front planters, add landscaping to one side of our front yard that was bare, and add trees to our back side yard. He was very knowledgeable in what plants work best in our area and was able to pick plants that fit the needs/wants we requested. We were very happy with being able to see the design in the computer to give a clear visual, and what has been installed looks beautiful so far! The only paint point has been with getting the run around on when plants that were selected will be delivered, I understand delays but also don’t understand selling a plant that ends up not being available come delivery date. We were fine as well with pushing our delivery but even with pushing our initial delivery back we are still waiting weeks later with no timeline of when install will be finished which is a bit frustrating. Once everything is installed we know it will be beautiful which is why we are not switching to plants that would feel like settling especially at the price of what we are paying. The install team was amazing, the made sure where plants were being placed was where we wanted and everything looked beautiful once completed. We even ended up wanting a couple plants moved and the install team made sure it was done to ensure we were happy with the overall look. Josh Hutfilz on the MVP Pro Team also serviced our existing Crepe Myrtle’s that were installed from another company and he taught me so much about how to care for the trees. He answered some questions I had about some growth concerns on our trees and also shared information on how to improve the health of the trees for long term growth! I appreciate the knowledge and attention to detail from Josh when talking about our trees and doing the soil injector treatment, A+ service! Overall Moon has been a pleasure to work with and once everything is installed we will be enjoying watching everything grow!

Several years ago, we purchased 9 plants from Moon Valley to create a privacy hedge. We were assured they would thrive in the location we chose and grow to the size we needed. Unfortunately, over the past year, three of the trees have died. We’ve had multiple certified arborists evaluate the situation, and all have concluded that the trees were improperly planted—specifically, the roots were not spread correctly, which caused them to wrap and eventually kill the trees. When I returned to Moon Valley after the first tree died, I was told we were outside the warranty period and was offered to purchase thousands of dollars in fertilizers instead. I’m very disappointed in this experience. The damage caused by poor planting practices is not something that would have been apparent early on; it was a slow and preventable decline due to improper installation from the start.

Moon nursery knocked out of the park, from picking our trees, thanks to Carlos Nieto for the great customer service and never felt pressured to purchase something we didn’t like we took all the time he had to make us feel welcomed at the Moon Nursery in Buda, the set up crew was amazing as well very professional thanks Joey and team. The planting crew lead by Angel Veintidos and crew did an amazing job planting and explaining the process before and after. Our landscape changed so much in a short hours. BTW we also planted some fruit trees and were able to enjoy some fresh sweet peaches. Thank you Moon Nursery for an amazing experience..
