My 16 year old son and his two friends just finished a wonderful introduction to glacier climbing with a trip up Mt Baker. Their guide Patrick gave them a comprehensive course on the rigor and joy of high altitude travel. Although tough on the body and soul the kids came back with a smile and a desire to do it again. They even enjoyed the food. When they decide to sign up for more we will be calling up Patrick and Mountain Madness for another round

Had a real fun time in spite of about everything that could go wrong, going wrong with my body on the trip and holding myself out of the summit trip on day 2. Esteban was a great guide. Patient, knowledgeable, fun, and flexible. Made the trip enjoyable for what everyone wanted to get out of it and took good care of our small team, giving us options and letting us contribute. Would love to try doing it again sometime and have my body hold up enough to do the summit day.

It was amazing to learn so many techniques related to mountain travel then practice applying them on Baker and Shuksan! Highly recommended to complete this if your interested in becoming more competent in the mountains.

I went on the guided Rainier trip with MM in July 2025. It was an amazing experience led by our guides Jen and Sean. I learned a lot from them and had a great time. I felt extremely safe with them as well. They were very professional and really knew their stuff. We got to the top of Rainier and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience.
