This easy to moderate trail is silty as it is a dry creek and water run-off area. To the north/northwest, it meets up with the trail at South Mountain preserve. I’ve observed many bicyclists lack awareness about sharing the trail with hikers.

This little trail is a part of the South Mountain Trail system. It appears to start at Ray Road but there is no discernable trailhead with parking and facilities. The trail itself winds around residences following a creek and eventually joins with other bigger trails. There is a paved walk way south of the Ray Road that may be a part of this trail. There are 3 ponds on this section. You can see several species of ducks in the ponds in winter months.

Nice hidden trailhead that connects to many other south mountain trails. Surprised to see so much vegetation and even tall wild grown palm trees.

Things can be deceiving. I thought this would be a short trail, mostly used by dog owners. It wasn’t. It was really nice and was actually a good hike.
