Why is this recreational facility not competitive with the private sector health clubs? Absurd hours, closing at 4p.m. on Friday, 12 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday and holidays. These are office hours and are just about the opposite of the needs of members, the paying public. The owners, the people, should have this facility to recreate when they are free from own their jobs, not just at the convenience of staff and other types of city facilities. There are three and four staff members in the office during these hours. Why and what could they possibly be doing? Needed are recreation specialists who are passionate to offer maximum use of the facility for myriad activities. Devise programs, rent the rooms, get proactive to deserve the facilitie's existence.
