The route setting this summer is absolutely tragic. V1-3 is only uninteresting jug ladders and the back area is sparse empty traverse problems in the v7-10 range.

Normally, very cool spot but lately it's been ~70% comp routes. Hopefully not the new norm or a byproduct of Movement not adequately compensating its (very uniquely talented) setters

Great facility, awesome staff, and relaxed atmosphere. My kids have participated in summer camps here and not only have they become stronger, gained confidence in their capabilities, and learned a lot about bouldering, but they've had a blast with the other kids and coaches. Definitely recommend for anyone, kids and adults.

This is the first bouldering only gym I'd been to and it was a ton of fun! The workout area looked really nice and there was a group class taking place. The routes humbled me, but they were fun and challenging to work on. I loved the traversing section, but didn't love topping out on the structures in the center of the room. The only thing I really didn't like was that I didn't get any kind of walk through when I signed in - but I also didn't ask for one, so that's on me.

This gym is great! The less than 5 star reviews touching on the value for what you get IMO feel very inaccurate. If you are joining to only climb, and only go a handful if times a month, then you simply arent maxing out your membership benefits and thats on you. I appreciate that this gym is super open and relaxed, and the staff is super friendly, not stuffy or intimidating. My partner and i have been members for a fee months now and we both feel this membership is a great value. Yes this is primarily (obviously) a climbing gym but its not JUST a climbing gym. You also have access to their numerous yoga classes, fitness classes, and standard fitness/ workout rooms and equipment. Its honestly a great value when you compare to standard gym memberships. You also are able to use other locations and invite guests. The rino location is the largest bouldering space in the state, and is also connected to Improper city which is a cool social space. I take yoga classes here regularly, use the fitness spaces for cardio and lifting regularly, and just took my first bouldering class to get into climbing. Point being- even if you font climb (at a climbing gym) this membership is still valuable. And its a great way to meet new people! If people are spending money on a membership to only use it like once a week, then maybe dont get a membership and then complain about not using it as well as you could. But thats just me.
