Johnny and Jesse are amazing. The hotel is very unique, and cozy. When you stay, look for every hidden detail from the carpet quotes, pictures, wallpaper, ceiling fixtures, and the monkeys in the lobby bathroom. The food, drinks, and service are top-notch. I'm looking forward to returning and staying in a new room to see if there's any other hidden visual treasures. Thank you, Moxy, for providing such wonderful service during our short stay in Texas.

What a cute and fun hotel! I stumbled across it on the Marriott site and decided to stay there because it was within walking distance to The Moody Center. I loved the fun vibe and feel of the hotel. I was given poker chips to redeem for the drink of the day, which was a great welcome!!! I stayed with a girl friend of mine for the night, just to go to the concert. The room was really cute! Having the shower in the room with only a draw curtain was a little odd, but we were close friends, so it was ok. Definitely would have been uncomfortable if I had several friends stay in the room where more privacy would have been necessary. It was perfect for two people or a family, but I would not stay there for a girls trip weekend. The hotel staff were all friendly and nice! Loved having coffee in the backyard area in the morning as well as sitting out there the night before by the fire pit. I will definitely be back there again! Loved it!

I stayed here during a business trip without really knowing too much about the property, although a few people told me it was nice. On the plus side, the hotel is very nice. I liked the bar/common areas and there's an awesome spot outside with tables and a fire pit. They also had live music two nights that I was there which was cool. The rooms and common areas are well decorated and themed as well. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and courteous. What didn't work for me is that the rooms are on the small side, and are definitely not conducive to business, There was no desk or table and there was one very uncomfortable chair. In order to do any work, I had to go down to the common area, which was not terrible, but because it is a common area, it was very noisy. The valet parking was convenient, but be sure ask ask how much the daily charge will be BEFORE you decide to do it. I found it to be very expensive. Street parking is hard to come by, and costs money as well, so you might have no choice but to valet park so you're almost forced to pay whatever they are charging. Overall, the property was very nice, but is much more a 'vacation' hotel than a business hotel in my opinion.

I do not know if all the rooms are the same, but ours had the shower and sink in the room, and only the toilet was separate. That did not bother us at all. Everything looked really good and the bed was comfortable. The view was also nice. The hotel was quiet. The only thing we heard was the shower door closing from our neighbor's room (you have to close it slowly otherwise it shuts with a loud noise) or people talking on the hallway. But that wasn't common. Downstairs, they have a bar and a fast food place which are open late. If you stay with them, they give you a complimentary drink (batch made punch) that was really good. They also have some games that you can play. People working there are nice and helpful. The vibe is hip, but nice and little European, which I liked. The photo is from the elevator wall 😂 also the carpet had some funny texts. Overall it is a nice hotel and I'll want to stay there again when in Austin.

This is our first time at Moxy and although we are here for only one day, we have had a great experience. We were greeted by John at the front desk and he is probably one of the nicest hotel employees we have ever met. We enjoyed dinner from the taco bar where John came over to take our order and was just as kind and personable as he was when we checked in several hours earlier. John is what superior customer service is all about. We happily have a room booked again in August. The valet is also very nice and personable. I am not sure what his name is but he is tall with dark hair. He chatted with us each time we came in and out. He is another example of great customer service. I would definitely recommend Moxy to those staying in Austin. The only negative I would say is that there isn’t a fridge or coffee machine in the room, but other than that everything else is great!
