My oldest child started attending Mt. Olive when he was 18 months. He is now almost 4 and my daughter is now there, too. We have had a wonderful experience. I’ve helped volunteer and serve in several ways and the leadership has been wonderful during those times, and overall. I always highly recommend Mt. Olive to anyone looking for a preschool. I’ve seen my kids grow in all ways and they love going every single day! Very happy with our decision! 😊

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this school is! I have had several children go through the preschool program here. It’s easy to love the school because the teachers are so loving with the children, but over the years I have seen how the school has grown and developed into providing an excellent education in a very safe environment. The new director has put several measures in place to make sure student safety is always priority and she holds the teachers accountable to make sure they are really teaching the kids and not just letting them coast through. The staff is tight knit and many of the teachers have been there for about a decade. The families are warm and the whole place just feels good. As a parent I trust them to protect, teach and love my children.

Best-in-Class Pre-K: I’m thankful as a parent new to the area I found Mt Olive for my son’s pre-K year. Here are some aspects that make this pre-K so wonderful: encouraging and requiring personal responsibility in *all aspects* of school time, weekly and monthly lesson plans are shared with parents; a structured yet playful environment; classroom “centers” with stimulating activities and toys engaging kids in science, math, handwriting, art, and sensory play and promoting social and emotional development; weekly short story books (aligned with weekly theme) and week-long chapter books; weekly Bible memory verses and chapel. The reach of the pre-K teachers’ investment extends to me as the parent via my son’s growth over the year, and I’m thankful for what I’ve received as a result in addition to all my son has received and learned. In addition to the curriculum, social, and play time, Mt Olive offers extracurricular activities onsite, which is a tremendous opportunity —- and convenient! Hats off to the school’s director, Karen, who clearly sets a tone of care and excellence in the school, provides helpful weekly informational emails, and has an open door policy. Thank you for a superb year!
