A job well done- I have a 1989 Searay 300- which is a 30' Cabin Cruiser- with twin 350's. I had a nasty gouge in the gel coat, from my dock, plus other repairs that needed to be done. The Gel coat work they did was awesome. I have used this company over the last 5+ years to do my boat service and maintenance. They are always friendly, they communicate well, and do a great job. I recommend this company. Brian is a wonderful service manager.

Came here for a bottom paint job on my 24' sailboat. I ended up being VERY satisfied with the job being done. The staff here know their stuff and are flexible and understanding of my personal schedule. I'm actually glad I didn't go anywhere else. I will DEFINITELY come back next time!

Very happy boater! When it came time to lift our boat out of the water for the first time we were faced with finding a yard we felt would do a good job for our needs. From the beginning Maltnomah Yacht Repair was professional and responsive to our needs. At our first meeting the owner Joe took the time to sit with me, listen to my unique needs and formulate a plan that would work in our budget, timeframe and expectations. After the meeting they prepared a detailed formal quote outlining price and scope of work to be done which really helped set a roadmap from start to finish. Once the work started the yard manager Brian took over. Upon dropping off the boat we meet and went over my expectations. This is KEY, Brian is not a mind reader so the better you communicate your expectations, the better he can do his job! Brian kept me well informed though the 4 week process and even followed up a few weeks after it was back in the water to make sure I was happy. We used a spectrum of services from their team (bottom coat, new stern thruster installation, new seacock valves, new anchor chain, fiberglass and gel coat repairs) and were happy with all. I found their prices on parts to be competitive with most online markets. In the end they were on time, on budget and good people to work with.

About 5 years ago I had a new motor installed in my sailboat. They charged about $5000. To install it. This was the biggest mistake. They kept the boat all summer long . It was obvious they had no idea how to do the install. They cut into the wiring harness. And proceded to splice . The motor alignment was so bad the shaft bearing fell out after 24 hrs run time. I wouldn't take my row boat to this company for service. I am now in a yard correcting all the mistakes and paying more money to do the job over again. If you are fond of your boat find somewhere else to go.

We've had comments that it looks like new and it really does! They did everything possible outside and inside with a beautiful result. I could not be happier with their work!
