The experience from start to finish is nothing but extraordinary! As a cycling enthusiast, I want to also bring light to what I think is the most important aspect of a bicycle rental- the bicycle itself. I can tell that quite a bit of thought has been put into choosing the make and models of bicycles available for rental. The wide, 47mm tires on my model roll smoothly over the occasional poor road conditions, the hydraulic disc brakes easily slow you down on steep downhill sections (also great for those with weaker hands), and the 1x9 gearing with trigger shifters allow for easy gear changes. The bikes were also very well maintained; crisp shifting, no chain drops and no spongy brakes. Embarrassingly, they are more well maintained than even my own bicycles... The only other bicycle rental location on the Beltline I could find only rents single speed bikes with coaster brakes, which I frankly would not recommend for anyone wanting to do any real cycling. Genuinely, my only regret is forgetting to tip Jane at the end of my ride. I would have happily paid much more for such an incredibly fun and convenient service!
