The Museum of Illusions in Austin is a fun and unique experience! The exhibits are interactive, creative, and perfect for taking some cool photos. There’s a good mix of optical illusions, mind-bending puzzles, and hands-on activities that keep both adults and kids engaged. You can easily spend around 2–3 hours here if you take your time to try everything and capture some fun pictures. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe is upbeat and playful. However, I do feel the ticket price is a bit on the higher side for the size of the place. It’s worth it if you enjoy immersive, Instagram-worthy experiences, but just keep the cost in mind when planning your visit. Overall, a great spot for families, couples, or friends looking for something different to do in Austin. Definitely recommended for a one-time visit!

I think this is a cool place. Staff was nice and helpful explaining what each area was but there’s still a lot of things that need more guidance. I would love for more staff to be there to take pictures or show you how to take the best pictures. I also think it’s expensive for what it is. It’s short. We only spent 30 minutes and maybe, some people spend more time. We just didn’t feel like there was more to do. Overall, it’s a cool place, I’m glad I went and took my family.

The Museum of Illusions in Austin was such a fun and unique experience, but what truly made our visit unforgettable was Gianna! She was absolutely the BEST her attitude was so positive and welcoming from the moment we walked in to her exhibit. Gianna went above and beyond to help us get the perfect angles for every illusion, showing us different poses and how to get the coolest shots. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re planning to visit, definitely look for Gianna she’ll take your experience to the next level. 10/10 would recommend! Also such a cute spot to take family or go as a couple.

What a fun place for picture taking on my wife and ours anniversary. The staff was very helpful in photo taking and direction. Only thing I could complain about was the a.c. needs to definitely be blowing harder. Also I would of loved the opportunity to have a real museum of illusion magnet for the refrigerator.
