Nectar Lounge is easily one of my favorite places to catch live music in Seattle. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—everyone from the staff to the crowd has a friendly, easygoing vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s not one of those places where you feel out of place if you’re not 21 or 60—the crowd is a great mix of people who are just there to enjoy good music and have a good time. What I love most is how up close and personal the experience feels. The venue is intimate enough that you can actually see the performers and feel the energy from the stage, which is getting harder to find these days. And unlike many other spots, the drinks are actually reasonably priced—no need to brace yourself for a $20 cocktail here.

We came here from out of town! We had so much fun! We were having an issue with some guys being creepy, but the security guard Nate was on it! He made us feel so safe, and ensured that the guys didn’t get a chance. If you want to enjoy fun entertainment, in a safe environment I highly recommend!
