Wow, this was bad... and im from TEXAS! I really didn't wanted to write a bad review, but I couldn't find any other reviews or comments that talked about Saturdays here Maybe I picked the worst day? But I was just visiting Seattle and was looking for an LGBTQ night club, and... We have much better at home, in the Very Red Texas The music was horrible, just a mixed CD playing (or something) ... I swear to you, I had my earphones on, playing other music

I don't know how other people got water, I kept going back to the bar to see when they were going to reopen it and they never did. So I danced without drinking anything I was so thirsty. Spent $20 from 2am to 4am dancing to 90s hits played on TV screens on a very sticky floor. Can't comment about the bathrooms because I didn't go. Cute DJ but that's about it. I'd rather just go home and play music on the TV.

A little dead on a Thursday but the vibe was great. I’ll definitely head back in a weekend night and give it another go. The singers were fun and people were welcoming and chill.

$40 cover, charged for water, and snatched our completely full drinks out of our hands for last call without any warning. Completely unprofessional and ruined the vibes. Total money grab. Do not go here.

Worst place ever. We were out of town on vacation and they wouldn’t let my friend in because they didn’t think her id was real. Refused to call an officer to verify it being a real id. She’s literally older than me. There is 0 reason they should’ve denied her. Also $40 cover fee. Goodbye

The patronage includes a broad spectrum of identities and styles—from those who enjoy partying hard on the dance floor to those who prefer a laid-back chat over cocktails. This mix fosters a social dynamic where everyone feels free to express themselves, making it especially appealing for groups that value inclusivity and diversity. Regular guests often mention the friendly, sometimes quirky crowd, and the presence of dancing drag performers and go-go boys adds a lively, colorful flair to the environment. The vibe is casual and unpretentious, avoiding the high-gloss feel of some newer clubs in favor of a more authentic and community-centered nightlife. While some past reviews mention that the venue can feel a bit worn or “seedier” compared to newer hotspots, many patrons see this as character, reinforcing that the club is a real slice of Seattle’s nightlife history. Groups looking for a spirited night out will find this atmosphere both engaging and comfortable.

How does the location and amenities enhance the group experience?

Situated at 1509 Broadway in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, Neighbours benefits from being placed in one of the city’s most vibrant and LGBTQ+ friendly neighborhoods. Guests are advised to never leave their drinks unattended, as there have been reports of drink tampering incidents in the past. Staying together as a group and looking out for one another is recommended, especially given the club’s large size which might make it easy to get separated in the crowd. Although the staff, including bouncers and bathroom attendants, have generally positive reviews for being helpful and courteous, it's always wise to remain cautious and assertive if any issues arise. Groups should also plan transportation ahead of time, preferably arranged rideshares or designated drivers, given the club’s late closing hours.
