Bizarre atmosphere, fairly disorganized and very militant about checking bags, even small ones. Dim as well, making it hard to see any imperfections on vinyl

If you're the owner reading this, please consider this review and the many others. The lanky dude with straight hair and glasses is incredibly rude, as I would imagine you already know. I was in the store for maybe 45 minutes and in that time he threw serious shade and stink in my direction. In my friend's direction as well. It was actually shocking how bitter he was. I wanted nothing to do with him, but he seemed intent on continuing this nasty energy. I'm reading other reviews and people are saying the same things. He threw my card back at me after I tried a gift card that didn't have much money on it. I saw him throw a fit about someone wanting their bag from behind the counter. I read reviews of people saying he threw their belongings. He got pissy with my friend for just standing in the aisle. etc etc etc This guy seems to have a problem with customers being in the store, which isn't cool. This guy is actively harming your reviews and business. There are plenty of other music nerds capable of doing his job without the temper tantrums. I'll take my review down if someone takes some accountability for this behavior.

When you’re an American traveler who frequents record stores every once in a while you meet a really great record store owner. Dave was just that. We had a great conversation about the Talking Heads and David Byrne. We also talked about baseball. He’s a Oriels fan and I love taking about baseball. This shop is a dig. There’s so many records, tapes, CDs, VHS, and DVDs. It’s amazing! I wish I had a whole day to dig through the collection. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Seattle. Amazing shop.

Lanky guy with glasses working there was extremely rude, I missed the bag sign on the way in and got told off for having a bag and not hearing him the first time (I had headphones in). He asked me to put my bag behind the counter and I just asked to make sure where he was putting it and he proceeded to tell me “I don’t know how else to say it in English.” with a really poor attitude while snatching and *throwing* my bag behind the counter. I was frustrated with his attitude so I asked for my bag back cause I didn’t want to give this place any money and he proceeded to say something behind my back on the way out. Plenty of better vinyl stores in Seattle with kinder staff, don’t waste your time here.

Cool spot I accidentally stumbled upon. Guy working the counter was cool and helped me find what I was looking for. Huge selection! Little overwhelming actually. Great vibes here and some good prices. May not be very accessible for others due to the entrance being stairs and no elevator.
