Small venue north side of town. It is a church repurposed basketball Court into 5 table tennis court. Lighting is enough to play and the ceiling height is max . You can lob balls all day long if u want The entry fee was 10 dollars to play all night long. The staff was friendly and all the players were super nice. I would recommend if you are in the neighborhood

Nice venue with very decent player levels. Coaching is available. Warm and friendly environment for everyone. It's still one of the best places to Pong in Chi City.

Best ping pong club I've ever witnessed and played at and I have played at quite a few places. I think of myself as a mid-level player and I'm probably near the very bottom player at this club. That said, I always manage to find players who are willing to play with me and many offer very useful advice. In fact, nobody expects upper level players to play with the lower level players like myself, but several at gracious enough to occasionally offer to hit with me. They always provide excellent and useful advice. A very collegial group and absolutely worth a visit to at least watch some really high tournament-level play.

Net and Paddle has been my home club for years. The club is more than just a table tennis place, it is where you will meet and learn from people from all walks of life. The level of table tennis here is not your basement ping pong. The owner, Paul, who represented the U.S University Team in Israel in 1967, is, and always has been "The Man", the heart and soul of Net and Paddle since he's taken over the club after the founder, Millie, died in the late 90s. Paul has been playing at the high level for over 50 years and I can assure you, it is not easy playing against him. You would have to bring your A game. Really good lighting, Butterfly tables and high ceiling, plus the drop-in rate is affordable or a cheaper option for monthly membership. The best thing about Net and Paddle is the players. Can be described as a tight-knitted group, they are super friendly (not at first) but once you got to know them, it is a family where everyone supports each other. All races and skin colors are welcomed, all speaks one language and that is table tennis. The level of table tennis here will be challenging, and if you really want to play, you'll love it here. I started playing and learning table tennis here and I cannot say enough good things about the club. I have improved tremendously and have made friends with the wonderful people here. If you're in Chicago, Net and Paddle IS the place for table tennis.

Tables are in a church basement. Concrete floor. Lighting is OK but not great. Price is right, $7 a night or there is a lower monthly fee. The players, on the other hand, are excellent. Many players at a high level. A few players at mid level. No beginners. Players are friendly with the usual reluctance of top players to play with people at a lower level. Tunwa (Turtle) offers lessons there. He is a great coach.
