Nice looking venue. We were here for DPS kids for all (eligible) schools coming together to perform choir and band ensembles. I think for the students only practicing 2 days, the band did great, the choirs.. ehh, need more practice. The venue was cool though.

Had a FANTASTIC evening out with my wife and daughter. We had front row seats for an extremely reasonable price. The site was wonderful. The dancing was amazing, complicated, and error free. Lots of interaction. Lots of fun, memorable evening with closer family. Highly recommend if you get the opportunity.

Saw the 6:30 pm voices rock anniversary concert at Newman center PAC at DU. Great show- hundreds of enthusiastic singers , very well run production and great energy. Venue is beautiful- spacious, bright, ample restrooms, nice usher staff. $12 for parking seems steep. The covered walk way from 2nd level parking to lobby is very poorly lighted. I have a professional background in live sound engineering. Doing live choir especially with a band and especially with young voices can make for an extremely challenging gig. Overall sound was good. Mixer did a very good job handling the many cues, mic movements, etc. The mixing/ balancing of the band and between band / soloists/ choir.l was very good. There was also ample room for improvement. There were many times when the choir needed more of a lift to be louder. I would quibble with the choice and placement of area/ choir mics that could have assisted with this. Love the voices rock and will always go to their shows. Newman center is wonderful but has a few things they can improve on.

1/13/24- was here to see a show that my mother had won tickets to on the radio. It is a nice venue. The seats are small though and not made for bigger people, so it was uncomfortable sitting through the show. They had drinks and snacks before the show with a themed option of 'butter beer' that came in both an adult and kid version. Prices were on the higher side with small servings.
