Love it here! I started with a beginner handbuilding class at the partner studio Out of Step, and since then have taken handbuilding classes here and become a member. It's a great community! I would still say I'm a beginner, and everyone has been really supportive and helpful as I figure out different techniques. Both studio owners are awesome, and have taken a lot of time to teach me. Highly recommend!

Next Step Clay is the best! My husband and I did beginner wheel and handbuilding classes at their partner studio Out of Step Clay for a year before moving over to Intermediate Wheel with Griffin! Griffin and Josh are both excellent teachers and it really feels like a community. It's great that Griffin's dog sometimes joins lessons too! Everyone is helpful, friendly, and supportive. I thought I wasn't "creative" enough to start up ceramics as an adult, but the instructors at Next Step have helped me to find my outlet! It's always great for a lesson or open studio time.

Next Step Pottery offers plenty of class options for beginners and more advanced students. I just took a Raku class with Griffin and learned so much as I threw my pots and in the firing process. Griffin made sure each student had want the needed to create fabulous results. I’m looking forward to taking my next class soon.
