She talked with us ahead of time, and made sure she knew what we wanted in advance. It was clear that Nina wanted to create photos we love. During the photo shoot, she made us feel comfortable and let us take all the time we needed, so there was no pressure to rush things with our newborn. She's great at getting genuine smiles -- even smiles from babies. And when it was time to look at our photos a few days after the shoot, she was a great help in selecting which ones to take home with us. I do love the photos we got. Nina has outlined a systematic process where you know exactly what you are going through. She engages with you well before the shoot, comes home and selects and coordinates clothes for the photo shoot. She provided very helpful suggestions. She also has a great sense of the environment where she is taking the photographs. Her ability to engage with children during the shoot is also incredible. We loved our experience working with Nina Miller! Nina was so attentive and helpful as we prepared for our photo session. And during the session she did whatever it took to get the "good" picture, including performing silly dances on the hike & bike trail. Her photoshop skills are amazing. In one series of shots of the four of us, 2 of us looked good in one shot and the other 2 looked good in another, so she performed her photoshop magic to splice the good shots together in one photo, which turned out perfect! I unreservedly highly recommend Nina and will definitely go back to her for our future family photos.
