Nomad Donuts is a beloved independent eatery located in the vibrant North Park neighborhood of San Diego, offering a unique destination for meeting up with friends over breakfast or lunch. Since its founding in 2014, Nomad has been renowned for its artisanal donuts and Montreal-style bagels made fresh daily from scratch. This diverse range offers something to please everyone, from classic flavors to inventive and exotic combinations. Beyond the food, Nomad Donuts supports and collaborates with local makers and breweries, creating a community-oriented atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Reviews from patrons highlight Nomad Donuts as a specialty spot in San Diego that excels in vegan donuts and Montreal-style bagels, contributing to its cult following. Positive feedback often praises the freshness and uniqueness of the menu items, especially the creative combinations of donuts and the characteristic bagels that are handmade and baked with care. Customers appreciate the friendly service, the shop’s commitment to community, and the integration of local craft beers and coffee that complement the food offerings. We went twice during our long weekend! The staff was so nice during our first time when we couldn't decide between the Day at the Fair (strawberry funnel cake) and Blueberry, that she gave the Blueberry as a freebie. It worked out because I loved the funnel cake one and my husband loved the Blueberry. We also shared the Salmon Gravlax bagel and WOW, so delicious and comforting with the toasty bagel. On our 2nd visit, we got the Vegan Shawarma Bagel, the Apple Pie donut and the Guava Cream Cheese. All phenomenal and surprisingly not too sweet. We're definitely coming back for more on our next SD trip! :)

All bagels are vegan, they have an epic vegan menu, and the non-vegan donuts are labeled "NV". So many great options and kind staff. 10/10 recommend.

Carnitas sandwich with a jalapeno bagel is a must. The secret sauce on the chopped cheese is the most overbearing mustard on the planet. Ask for it without the “secret sauce”.

The service here is always amazing, the atmosphere is great, but the food…. Never ceases to amaze me. I like to try new items just about every time I come here and I am always very pleasantly surprised by their mix of flavors and original taste. The donuts (even vegan) are always delicious. I’ve also tried many of their fun bagel sandwiches—each so unique and flavorful! This time I tried their carnitas tacos—so yummy!! I’ll add that I am super picky with tacos and these were phenomenal. Their menu is so versatile and even so, everything I’ve tried has been incredibly delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone. (:

This is one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. I actually can’t stop thinking about it. My only criticism is that the cashier charged me more than the price on the sign
