North Cove Marina – A Hidden Gem in the Heart of NYC This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite places in all of New York. North Cove Marina, right next to Brookfield Place, feels like a peaceful escape that not many tourists know about — and maybe that’s what makes it so special. I love walking there around 5 PM, when the sun begins to set, the birds are singing, and the breeze from the Hudson feels like a gentle hug. The chairs by the marina are the perfect spot to sit down, breathe, and watch the world go by. One of my favorite rituals: grabbing a meal from the Brookfield Place food court (so many great options!) and bringing it out to the marina. Nothing is more comforting and soul-soothing than that little moment of calm with the water, the view, and the sounds of the city slowing down. The boats, the reflections on the water, the elegant yet laid-back vibe — everything here feels like a quiet luxury. This is where I’ve had some of my best moments in NYC, and I’ll always come back. 😍

It’s a beautiful place, and I had an incredible experience sailing with a view of the Statue of Liberty and New York City. There’s something truly special about the moment the sails open, the sound of the ocean, and the gentle ringing of buoys warning nearby ships.

We had a wonderful experience working with the team at North Cove Marina to host our event. Being able to provide full event rentals, catering, beverage, liquor permitting, and insurances was a breeze. Josh the marina manager during our event couldn't have made it easier!

It's a thrill to sail into New York harbor, past the Statue of Liberty, and then dock your boat next to the megayachts, right under the Freedom Tower in New York City in North Cove Marina. An expensive thrill. This is also the marina that was right beside the twin towers and that was used to rescue and ferry people away from that tragedy on 9/11. For us, this marina was worth every penny because it allowed an elderly wheelchair bound NYC relative to visit our boat because of the access it afforded. And there was nothing better than hanging out on our sailboat, Golden Glow, at Happy Hour in such a special place...for a brief visit.
