North Pond, located in Chicago's Lincoln Park, is a sanctuary for birds and for people as well. It is incredible to be able to experience so much beautiful nature right in the heart of this huge and bustling city. It is a haven for birdwatchers, with a wide variety of waterfowl, wading birds and songbirds, and is a special delight in the spring, when it abounds with goslings and ducklings. It is also adjacent to the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, across Fullerton Avenue from the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pond, and a short walk from the Lincoln Park Conservatory, the Lincoln Park Zoo, and the Lake Michigan beaches. One of my most beloved spots in my home city.

First little exploration in Chicago. Loved the view from the north pond of the city at night! Cute little park even in the dark.

One of the best restaurant experiences in my life living in Chicago. Truly fine dining and worth the expensive price tag. The chef who ever he is is a master at his craft. Love how we could order different entrees as many Michelin star restaurants won’t let you do that.
