Our son spent over a year attending the little ninjas and the foundations classes. His instructors were not just knowledgeable in the fighting arts, but in the art of working with children at many different levels of development and skill. A wonderful community institution that I would recommend to anyone.

Started at NWFA a few months ago and my experience so far has been nothing short of amazing. The coaches are knowledgable and attentive, but each have their own styles so no class feels exactly the same or stagnant. In fact, I recently started going 3-4 times/week because I was enjoying it so much. The vibes are also super positive whenever I'm there. Everyone is nice and supportive and the advanced class students are always around to give extra tips and pointers. All around, this place is great. Highly recommend!

After hours of online research, I decided to take both of my kids to NWFA (Northwest Fighting Arts) for their boxing class, which is a mix of many different MMA disciplines, geared towards children in many different age groups. We have been going for 3 months now, and we are extremely satisfied with the classes and instructors there! It is immediately evident that they truly care about the students and their progress in the classes, and you can tell that each instructor is experienced with teaching martial arts to kids, as well as being very proficient in their craft. It is a large, clean facility with a full-sized boxing ring, many hanging punching bags, and gloves and mats that are available to use during the classes. The classes are about 45 minutes long and meet two times a week. They start each class with a mantra that is based on Attitude, Respect and Discipline. The instructors/coaches are very skilled at helping the kids understand and embrace these concepts during each class, as well as making sure that they are performing the movements the correct way, and with precision. The children in the classes at NWFA are not only learning how to protect themselves, they are also learning about humility and patience. My kids truly enjoy each moment they spend here and I can already see the progress that they have made. They are truly proud of what they have accomplished so far, all while showing increased respect and attitude outside of class. Very highly recommended!!

Part of my Muay Thai program: I had zero leg flexibility, and now I’m doing proper kicking techniques (though I still have much to learn). I can say that joining and sticking to the program can be life-changing. If you want to make a positive change and start improving your abilities, this is the place to join. All the mentors here are great. They do care and want to help.
