We didn't have to wait long to be seated. We got a table inside. The waiter was nice, but due to the noise level, it was difficult to hear him, especially since there was a language barrier. We got the Rustica and Cacio E Pepe. The pizza was good. The crust was very light and tasty. Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't very good. It was undercooked and didn't have enough salt. It's as if they didn't cook it long enough to be al dente and absorb the salt. The place is small so the tables were very close together. Due to the small space, it was uncomfortably warm, and that's coming from someone who's usually cold everywhere we go.

Tried the bunch menu item truffle and egg pizza. Crisp thin crust pizza with salty savory mozzarella. Lightly fried egg plopped in the middle to make it a “brunch” dish, not seasoned at all but it was nice to dip the crust in the runny yolk. There was only a ring of the truffle cream, wished it was incorporated into the entire pizza. Fresh basil was very much present. Overall above average pizza that satisfies the pizza craving. Perfect portion for one person, not too heavy on the stomach.

My wife took me to Numero28 today to celebrate my birthday and I’ve got to say that we couldn’t have planned a better way to spend this day. We had the Caponata as an Appetizer and the Diavolo Pizza and Cacio E Pepe as our main dishes. The pasta and salsas are made in-house so you could taste the freshness and we enjoyed the refreshing Sangria. We rdelighted in the unique flavors of the Caponata based on our server’s recommendation. The star of the show was definitely our server Kyle! He was very friendly, attentive and made sure that my birthday felt special. It’s rare to feel like family and I felt the need to write this review just because of how great the service was. If you’re reading this, thank you so much for making our night that much more special! 5 stars!
