Lovely clean sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas to rent. Shallow fresh water in which to swim, and lifeguards only allow you to keep close to the shore. $66 to rent 2 beds and an umbrella. Well worth the cost as the sand and sun were scorching.

I walked down to the beach today on Oak Street which I had map quested the directions from my daughters condo on Huron St. I found it an enjoyable walk and a vibrant and exciting day on a busy beach with fun people! Today was the annual air and water show on Lake Michigan so it was a fantastic show where there were plenty for ice cream vendors, music and swimming and a great time!!
