Both of my kids attended Ocean Experience Surf and Skate Camp last week, and it was hands down the best camp experience they’ve ever had — and that’s saying something, because they’ve done a lot over the years, from junior lifeguards to other water and land-based camps. The staff at Ocean Experience were attentive, caring, professional, and clearly very experienced. Every day, my kids came home full of stories and beaming with pride about what they learned — whether it was catching a wave, dropping in for the first time, or exploring marine life. They looked forward to going every morning, and it was amazing to watch how much fun they had while also progressing in their skills. Huge thanks to the whole crew for creating such a positive and memorable week. We’ll definitely be back!

Took private surf lessons with Hannah and absolutely loved it! The staff are all super friendly and attentive. I came back a couple days later and rented equipment to surf again (half price if you rent within a few days of your lesson from what I understand). Now I'm hooked! :) I highly recommend this place.

My son and daughter have grown up spending two weeks each summer at the Ocean Experience camp. We send them back every year because they always leave wanting more. It’s not just because they are having fun, they are learning how to surf, respect their environment, and respect others. The staff may Slowly change over the years as counselors move on to the next phase of their lives, but the owner, Roger Caldwell’s vision and philosophy has remained constant through the years. Now that my kids are getting older we’ve also joined in with the Roger’s other venture, the Baja Experience, and have had epic guided trips down to Baja with his team. Such a great family oriented and community oriented organization, I highly recommend it!

We called to schedule surf Lessons but Andrew (manager) forgot to put us in the book...wasted half a day bc the family couldn’t get lessons from anyone until much later in the day!!!! The staff there was very nice and apologetic and tried everything they could to accommodate us. Still recommend these guys but MAKE sure you get your confirmation!!!! I scheduled towards the end of the day and I guess Andrew didn’t care bc it was close to closing time.
