I want to personally thank each of my instructors for the amazing work and dedication to their students. Nev, Mike, and Jules were all great mentors in this journey to SCUBA. They were all very thorough with instructions and made it a priority that we had fun while also practicing safe procedures. Not only do they care about our safety, but they also care about our interest in protecting and learning about our Oceans. This is fundamental for interacting with our sensitive oceans, as it's not just a hobby but a lifestyle. I intend to interact with my fish neighbors in respectful and fun ways that respect their livelihoods. I would 100% recommend this dive shop. They offered me great incentives to shop local as well as provided follow-up calls and interest in my journey to becoming more advanced in my diving. Special thanks to Oscar, Lindsey, and the incredible staff at the front who helped me decide on gear.

From the start, my experience with Ocean First has been nothing but positive. The instructors are incredibly talented, kind, and most importantly for me, they have been incredibly patient. I wish I could say that I can catch on immediately but with me the effort is not as easy but the instructors have always encouraged me and remained patient. I have not yet completed my open water certification but if I can calm down my nervous energy, Mike and John are the people I need to help me out. Kudos, also to every staff member at Ocean First who have been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and pationate about scuba diving. I feel fortunate to have started off with Ocean First.

My family and I just finished our scuba course and WE LOVED IT!!! The two instructors, both named Mike P. were so professional and friendly and fun, we are all sad it's over! We will definitely take more advanced courses in the future! If you're even slightly interested in scuba or swim lessons or need any sort of gear, do not hesitate to go check it out, you'll be glad you did!

Thank you for a great Open Water certification class in September 2024! I completed my check out dives with Paros Divers in the Greek islands and felt really confident in my skills. The dive master said he wished he could thank my instructor, Matt Carr, personally and that he has an instructor position open for him Spring 2025 😄 Really pleased with the high quality snorkel and dive gear that we’ve used for two years now. After my check out dives, my husband and I got to dive together for the first time-- we saw ancient amphora and swam with sea turtles! We're looking forward to many more classes with OceanFirst. Great experience!

We visited Ocean First for our first time over the weekend to prepare for a honeymoon diving trip, and loved it due to the friendliness of the staff and, ultimately, Mike’s willingness to go above and beyond with caring for our equipment needs while educating us along the way. We love diving, and are super excited by the fact that we now have a home shop to frequent in between our adventures!

One of the key offerings is the availability of personalized account opening and servicing, which can be a shared group activity for friends or family setting financial goals collectively. For example, friends could come together to open savings accounts or IRAs, or small business groups might explore loan options as part of a financial planning session. The bank's extended Lobby and Video Teller hours accommodate busy schedules, making it easier to organize meetups without time constraints. Besides traditional banking, the branch provides a coin machine and Nest Egg Kiosk, which adds a distinctive touch—these tools can spark informal learning or friendly competitions about saving and managing money effectively. These services make Ocean First perfect not just for transactional visits but for collaborative financial planning sessions in a supportive environment.

The customer-friendly staff are known for their smile and readiness to assist, which means groups can expect attentive service tailored to multiple people’s needs simultaneously. Moreover, the bank emphasizes community involvement and teamwork, reflecting its values through volunteerism and outreach programs; this can inspire groups to view their meetup as not just a banking session but also a moment to connect over common community interests. This extended access means meetings can be planned around work and family commitments, allowing groups to convene comfortably. The physical location of Ocean First branches—often set in community-centered areas—also enhances accessibility for guests traveling together. Additional services like ATMs and coin machines on site reduce the need for multiple stops, simplifying group errands.
