I honestly don’t understand how this place has over 800 five-star reviews—our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We booked a boat two months in advance, only to be told the night before that the boat was broken. They offered us a different one, but instead of honoring the original rate, they tried to charge us more. After three hours of frustrating back-and-forth, the second boat also broke. Despite the horrible booking experience, we decided to put it behind us and try to enjoy the day. That didn’t happen. It took 90 minutes just to get out of the river, and when we finally made it to open water, the captain, Andreas, refused to take us any farther. Instead, he brought the boat to a crowded docking area and parked it. We asked multiple times to be taken out to where we wanted to go—after all, we paid for a 6-hour boat rental. Andreas flat-out refused and told us there was “no point,” which seemed like an excuse to save on gas. This wasn’t what we paid for, and it absolutely ruined our trip. With so many glowing reviews, I have to question how many are fake or how many negative ones have been filtered out, because our experience was completely unacceptable. Avoid this place.
