Although it was a fun experience there were a few inconveniences that were hard to overlook. The sound system was a bit off and it was hard to understand the actors at times. When your email says arrive 15 minutes early, I would not recommend. The show started at 4 we arrived 15 minutes early, and it got off to a late start. So we were waiting in a line, in the parking lot for about 25 minutes. The chairs are very uncomfortable. But the atmosphere was on point. The drinks were amazing and the acting by the story tellers was entertaining. The host and the telling of Poe's life was probably the most enjoyable and the audiences ability to interact during the telltale heart was fun. I would recommend even with the annoyances.

Performances- excellent. This offers a view of the stage not seen today. Stripped down to performer and story, rather than over processed set design and over produced musical numbers, the audience is provided an unvarnished rare performance. The cocktails are well thought out. Yes, they are on the sweet side but ultimately are balanced and enjoyable. Let’s not forget our fellow event goers. People watching is well worth the effort. Many took the time and effort to blend in with the theme.

Great atmosphere, even though it was during the day. The drinks really did speak for themselves along with the acts. Would recommend this highly.

Attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy event here. Very easy to locate. Parking was plentiful and right up front, with additional parking in the back. Nice bathrooms (there are multiple). Seems like a great place to host events.

Nice large event center. The place used to be a sports warehouse. The sound/music, both live and canned, was way too loud to hold conversations at the dinner table. Plus, there were not enough sound panels on the walls to dampen the sound. Food was good. Nice program but frustrating as we could not talk to our friends around the table. This was not a featured concert.
