I was bummed when Hao Hao closed down, but I'm so happy One Bite Dumpling moved in and took its place! It seems like they're still decorating and getting in to the swing of things, but we had a great meal overall. Our server was friendly and helpful as we asked some questions about different items on the menu. We started with the Pork Soup Dumplings and Radish Salad. The dumplings were classic with a deep pork flavor and nicely steamed dough. The radish salad was really fun. We loved the crunchy, pickled kind of vibe the dish gave off. For our entrees, we got the Black Pepper Chicken Udon and Hot Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. The udon was really great and unlike anything I've had at other Chinese restaurants. I would highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you don't do spicy. The beef noodle soup was probably our favorite dish of the meal. It was heat spicy but also Szechuan peppercorn tingly. The noodles were delicious and the meat was flavorful and tender. We are looking forward to visiting One Bite Dumpling many times in the future to try more tasty food.

As a Houston foodie I know good Asian cuisine. Cucumbers salad delicious, great flavor. Soup dumplings juicy. Shanghai noodle was great I had to add soy and chili oil, they have homemade chili oil. Green beans perfectly cooked with wonderful flavor as well. All dumpling fresh and good.

I’ve wished for a dumpling restaurant in south Austin for so long and I’m so thrilled to have One Bite in the neighborhood! We had the spicy chili oil wontons, chicken and corn dumplings, beef roll, scallion oil noodles, dry fried string beans, and pork soup dumplings. Service was fast and everything we tried was great! Favorites were the spicy chili oil wontons and the beef roll - it was massive! We will definitely be back! 🥟🥟🥟

Came for dinner and ordered pork soup dumplings, pork steamed dumplings, spicy wontons and braised beef noodle soup. All pork dumplings were so bad. The pork smelled rancid and tasted awful. There was barely any soup in the soup dumplings and the pork in the was mushy. The wonton sauce was grainy and too sweet. Beef noodle soup was just alright but doesn’t taste like Taiwanese beef noodle soup at all (staff told me it’s Taiwanese style). Overall, dumplings were inedible and noodle soup was not right. Staff was nice and helpful.

Eat it! We ordered the crab dumplings, pot stickers, spicy shrimp noodles, braised beef noodle soup. The shrimp in my soup were large and the broth was perfectly medium spicy. There was a unique bouquet to the broth that I couldn’t narrow down, but I loved it! The crab dumplings were very soft and simple. They weren’t trying to over do it. Dumplings are handmade right in front of you. Managed to get a free tasting of some fried rice. I think it was mostly fish and scallion flavored. It was perfectly sticky and clumped on my chopsticks nicely. We were told they use jasmine rice instead of long grain. I hope One Bite sticks around. We will be going back.
