I typically don't post negative reviews but I had a very poor experience with the young man working the front of the store. I highly recommend that if you are Black, you do not patronize this store because you are not welcomed there. The selection of produce and products were great, and I was very excited to find a neighborhood market to spend my dollars. However the young man working (he refused to give me his name, but he's about 6'2", dark short hair and light eyes) left a very bad taste in my mouth. There was a white gentleman who came into the store and purchased some items before I was rung up. The young man was very friendly, chit chatty, and courteous/cordial with the gentleman. However, when it was time to ring me up, he did not speak to me at all, he completely disengaged in any small talk, he packed up my items and did not offer a thank you or have a nice day. When I went back to the store to tell him I thought he was very rude and did not appreciate him treating me differently than the patron in front of me, he gave me a very insincere apology and when I asked for his name, he told me he didn't have to do that. It's a shame, I really like spending my dollars with smaller businesses rather than big box chains, but I will be going to Trader Joe's or Jewel in the future.

I came in here after a long day of work, I picked up the gluten free and vegan cookies at the cash register that cost $8. Shortly after eating them, I realized they were CBD cookies. I called the store a young man answered and I told him that I suggest that they put a sign that says CBD cookies at the front just in case somebody didn’t know that they had CBD in them. His response was very rude and immature and I don’t appreciate the way I was treated as a customer that comes in all the time. I usually never have a problem but I will not be back.

I recently made an impulse purchase here (they have a lot of good stuff!), and decided to return it. The staff was so nice. I did not have a receipt, but they were still able to process my return. I will definitely be back!
