I cannot recommend the OIDA highly enough! My high school age daughter has been dancing there since she was in preschool, and it has been an absolute joy to watch her grow and thrive in their supportive and nurturing environment. The teachers are not only incredibly talented and knowledgeable, but they are also the kindest, most positive people you could ever hope to meet. They create a space where every dancer feels valued and encouraged, regardless of their skill level or experience. There is absolutely no pressure or competition here, just a pure love of Irish dance and a desire to share that passion with their students. My daughter looks forward to going to classes every week, and it's not just about the dancing. The group of dancers has become like a second family to her, offering unwavering support, friendship, and fun outside of school. They have truly found a special bond through their shared love of dance.

My daughter has been going to Oregon Irish Dance Academy for an over a year. She started in pre-Irish and is now at beginner. Miss Victoria and her sister make learning Irish dance fun for the young kids by mixing instruction and playing. They has a borrowing system between parents for the shoes which is great . I love seeing my daughter learn about her heritage and culture and she’s excited about her first recital that’s coming soon. It’s been a great experience all together

This is my five-year-old daughter's second year in Irish Dance and she loves it! Victoria is amazing with young kids, a great teacher, and a very talented dancer. At the recital, my daughter was scared to perform and started crying refusing to go up. Victoria sensed that my daughter could do it, and was able to get her up there, holding her hand. My daughter was so proud of herself for doing it. I am so grateful to Victoria for her encouragement and ability to sense that my daughter could overcome her fear. Victoria's teenage students sometimes teach the class, all of whom are amazing. What a great opportunity she is giving these high school students. I would highly recommend this class for kids of all ages.

We absolutely love OIDA. Our oldest has been dancing with them for almost 3 years and I continue to feel so grateful for their positive, fun, non-competitive approach to dancing. No stress, just joy and friendship and encouragement. Christina and Victoria pour so much of themselves into this studio, from their thoughtful and effective teaching to their patience, kindness, and genuine love for Irish dancing. Would give six stars if I could. ;)
